Assistantships

Students have the opportunity to compete for graduate research assistantships which include a stipend and tuition waiver. Students should note that they must exceed the minimum requirements for admission to be competitive for assistantships and fellowships. The Graduate committee takes into consideration GPA, test scores, strength of courses taken, and letters of recommendation from past and present faculty. Students who apply to the Ph.D. program who are interested in assistantships or fellowships are encouraged to apply for admission and funding by February 1st.
